Special Ability: By running reiatsu down the surface of the blade of in this form, Gabriel's blades are superheated to the point where they have far more cutting power than any traditional Zanpakuto.

Additional Info: Gabriel is rendered extremely resistant to the heat his Shikai creates, due to training with it for about a hundred years. Due to having learned Bankai, Gabriel can bring out this form without a command or name, however doing it either way isn't necassary.

Bankai: Stella Rivoltella (lit. Italian for Star Revolver)

Special Ability: Obviously, Gabriel's bullets in Bankai have more piercing power than the average bullet, that allowing him to break through defenses like Hierro without much of a problem. The bullets are made of a special material his bankai unconciously produces in the barrel, as a result, Gabriel has seemingly unlimited bullets as long as he inputs the reiatsu to superheat and fire them.

Mano da Fuoco (lit. Italian for Hand(s) of Fire)
Gabriel uses his reiatsu and runs it through the skin on his hand, creating what seems to be an aura of fire. He can use this for a variety of purposes, allowing him to release and, to a minor degree, manipulate fire. This gives his gun's bullets far above the average firing power they have, and allows them to litteraly explode violently on contact with their intended target.

Additional Info: Despite having trained with his Bankai for about 70 years and being efficient at utilizing it, Gabriel is not immune to the typical drawbacks of a Bankai. His reiatsu reserves are slowly eaten away by the draining effect, but of course, due to training it's nowhere near the level of drain that a newcomer with Bankai has. He is only capable of using his Mano da Fuoco technique sparingly, and for a few seconds at a time, keeping it on longer can cause damage to his body; he may be resistant, but he isn't fireproof.

Life Story

Situation of the character's birth (where, when etc):

Describe their childhood (newborn - 30s/40s): Gabriel was born in Rome, at a time where it had been incredibly unstable and suffered from many rebellions. When he was old enough, he left his family without any real hesitation, but continued to care deeply for them for the rest of his life, keeping a picture of them in a silver locket he carries with him. He did enlist as a volunteer aid against the rebellion in his early twenties, but after extensive stress and being shot near his collarbone during his late twenties, he stopped doing so and settled down. Gabriel developed spiritual awareness during his early thirties, and shortly after his house was destroyed by a swarm of Hollows, and him along with it.

Midlife/adolescence (50-100): Gabriel was assigned to live in East Rokungai District #28 after his death, and as the years passed his memory of his life as a human being eroded, being drowned out by what he needed to do to get by in his current times as a soul. Gabriel was noted as talented, and nothing special, recommended by some of his friends to join the Shino Academy for training to become a Shinigami. He refused at first, but was eventually convinced around the spiritual age of 70 to do so. Through increased amounts of effort, he graduated the academy one year early at the age of 75. He spent the next 25 years of his life going relatively unnoticed, as he was not quite powerful enough to be a member of the Gotei 13 he remained in Rokungai and put his powers to good use to protect his friends.

Adult life (100+ years): Gabriel was one of the victims that went missing from the experiments of Aizen Sosuke, in his attempt to create a perfect hybrid between a Hollow and Shinigami. Aizen, rather than developing a Hollow inside Gabriel's body through hollowfication, fused his body with a living, breathing one. Gabriel descended into madness, and after being titled a 'failed experiment by the trio, was left for dead on the outskirts of Rokungai. Gabriel tamed the Hollows spirit by learning to communicate with his Zanpakuto during the near-death experience, with their combined power they were capable of sealing away the Hollow deep within Gabriel's consciousness, until Gabriel could learn to control its overwhelming "madness effect".

The initial years were the easiest, the Hollow was dormant and the vastly increased communication with his Zanpakuto due to having no one else to particularly talk to quickly allowed him to ascend to the point where he unlocked his Shikai, Gabriel at this point was roughly the power of a 4th Seat, nothing special so far. However as decade after decade passed, and the Hollow fed off the energy Gabriel and his Zanpakuto produced, constantly evolving into a more dangerous threat, Gabriel found he could no longer hold off what was far beyond just a mindless beast.

The struggle with his inner Hollow only drastically increased his willpower, but his communication with his Zanpakuto dwindled, and it too was devoured by the extending reach of the Hollow. Gabriel prepared him to face the Hollow, and at the spiritual age of 130, defeated the beast in battle by himself, with the help of his Zanpakutos guidance through his Shikai. The Hollow allowed Gabriel's Zanpakuto to return to him, and guaranteed Gabriel his assistance as well, as long as he could contain him, assuring that the moment he let his guard down he would fall victim to him just as his Zanpakuto had fallen. Seventy years passed without the Hollow ever starting attack, and Gabriel's power escalated to the level of an above-average Captain, even accessing Ban Kai, when his Zanpakuto had entrusted onto him its full power after being saved by the Hollows grip. He spent the next few years training not only his capabilities as a Shinigami, but those of his Hollow side as well to grant him efficient self control, believing it would make him more Human. Gabriel now lives on Earth peacefully, just what events will unfold?
