Zanpakutou Name: Togiretogire Hari (Lit. meaning - Broken glass in Japanese)

Shikai Form: The zanapakutou shatters, and sand shoots up from the hilt. Fire then wraps around the sand, heating it immensely, then revealing a glass blade (in whatever shape described in the rp it's used). It breaks easily, but is very sharp.

Shikai Ability:
Glass formation - Aruaki can willingly create and manipulate sand and fire to exclusively create glass. He may also manipulate glass, but only the glass he creates. This ability can only create medium sized pieces of glass (About 5 ft long and 5 feet thick.).

Life story

Situation of the character's birth (where, when etc): It was a simple birth. His father rushed his mother to the local hospital and the doctors delivered him. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Describe their childhood (newborn - 30s/40s): He lived only a short while...About 10 years...Then just as his 11th birthday was about to hit, a day before no less, he was killed. On the way home from school he decided to stop by the local playground. Everyone else had gone home, but he didn't mind playing by himself. He swung and slid and ran and climbed the time away. Before he new it the sun was setting. He knew his parents would have his head if he wasn't back soon. They weren't strict parents, but what self-respecting parent wouldn't be angry or worried? He hopped off the jungle gym, snatched up his bookbag, then slinging it across his back and sliding his arms through the carriers, and began to make a mad dash home. Luckily for him, his house was rather close. Unfortunately, though, a heavy and eerie presence made itself suddenly apparent. He was terrified, frantically whipping his head from left to right, trying to find the source. As he slowly started to step through the park exit, beads of sweat dripping down his fear-ridden face, a rather large blur could be seen blocking the way. The heavy feeling from before was now crushing down on him, forcing him to his knees. As he accepted his fate, his teeth clinched and tears began to cascade down his cheeks and drip down onto the sand leaving wet marks. Just then he felt a gale force knock him over, causing him to roll and tumble roughly into the jungle gym. He looked up, cringing in pain, to see what appeared to be a giant monster looming over his....own body? He looked to his hands in disbelief and back to his body. He had no idea what to make of it, but all he knew was that he had to run. He jumped up quickly and ran for the back exit of the park. The monster let Aruaki's lifeless body slide off of his giant pincer and looked up to Aruaki's panicked spirit rushing for the other exit. It gave swift chase and was soon right behind the boy. Just as the monster reached striking range and lifted his left pincer high in the air to make the final strike, he felt the monster's presence vanish. He came to a halt and turned around to see what had become of the monster, he saw a man in black sheathing a sword. The man turned to him and smiled as he said in a calming tone "Don't worry...I'm here to help...now just hold still. I'll send you over." Aruaki simply stood there in awe, his mouth agape. What amazing power did that man have? As he was lost in thought he felt something press against his forehead. His train of though broke, bringing him back to reality as he saw the man had pressed the butt of his hilt against his head firmly. The man spoke once more in the same tone "Don't worry...you'll be safe over in the soul society...You've got great potential, son. Strive to become what I am. A soul reaper...You're much too young now...but in a few years, you'll do great things...good bye for now." Just then Aruaki felt a lifting sensation as his spirit began to dissipate into miniscule orbs of light and his conciousness faded. When he came to he was in a village-like city, bustling with people. He pushed himself off the ground and looked around. He was a bit scared and confused. Just then a teenage boy approached him out of no where and spoke in a rather deep voice, "You new here? Come on...My girlfriend and I are starting a make-shift family...We'll explain everything at our house." Aruaki didn't know whether or not to go...but something about the boy was insuring so he went along. The boy introduced himself as Maki Inuzo and his girlfriend as Emiri Inuzo. There were 2 other children there, a boy who looked about 3 years younger than himself, and a girl who looked about 1 year older. They introduced themselves as Yachi and Karin. This was Aruaki's new family...He lived pretty easily with them for 5 years, then remembered what the man who saved him long ago had told him. He bid his family adue and set off forthe soul reaper academy. He stayed there for 5 years and did exceedingly well in all of the subjects. After he graduated, he was assigned to the 2nd court guard squad. He's currently not seated but works diligently on all his assignments so he's bound to be noticed sooner or later. It doesn't matter to him though...as long as he can save at least one life like that man did for him.
